Early Christmas in the Big Apple
New York doesn’t just welcome you—it grabs you by the heart. Our trip to Manhattan and Brooklyn was the perfect mix of towering skylines, elite basketball, culture, and unforgettable group memories.
We explored Manhattan’s icons: Times Square’s chaos, the Empire State Building’s majesty, Central Park’s calm, and the Brooklyn Bridge’s sparkle at night. Every corner felt like a movie set, and we were the main characters.
Brooklyn brought us basketball magic with a thrilling Nets–Pacers game, and the city’s soul came alive in the arena’s electric energy.
We also witnessed the NCAA Women’s Champions Classic, with UConn, Tennessee, Louisville, and Iowa—an inspiring highlight knowing UConn went on to win the National Championship.
Beyond the games, we embraced NYC’s culture: fresh bagels, SoHo and Fifth Avenue strolls, iconic pizza slices, and holiday vibes at Rockefeller Center. The best moments, though, were the in-betweens—laughs in the subway, skyline views from DUMBO, and hidden gems in Chinatown and Little Italy.
New York left us speechless and made us want to come back again.
