Double header in the heart of Serbian basketball
Our Belgrade adventure was pure Balkan immersion — fierce basketball, rich history, unforgettable meals, and a city full of surprises.
We wandered cobblestone streets, stood atop Kalemegdan Fortress overlooking the rivers, and felt the resilience of a city that has rebuilt with pride. Serbian cuisine stole the show — from ćevapi and burek to lively kafanas where rakija, music, and warmth turned meals into memories.
Then came the basketball: Crvena Zvezda vs Panathinaikos and Partizan vs Baskonia, two EuroLeague showdowns in one of Europe’s most passionate arenas. The chants, the energy, the emotion — Belgrade lived and breathed the game.
Between games and meals, we shared late-night walks, laughs, and moments by the river. Belgrade gave us adrenaline, culture, flavor, and connection. More than a trip, it was an experience we’ll never forget.
